Western Pennsylvania-based technology development company, Looped Solutions™ (formerly OhanaLink Technologies™), today announced a new strategic partnership with myPlan™, the first interactive safety decision aid designed through a series of multi-year research studies conducted by Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Through the partnership, myPlan now serves as a Resource Partner within the Looped Fusion Purple™ (formerly OhanaLink Purple™) solution to assist intimate partner violence (IPV) survivors in identifying and navigating their own safe path forward. “Relationship abuse is often complex and dangerous, making it difficult for survivors to make decisions while juggling competing priorities. Individualized safety planning with an advocate is the cornerstone of IPV interventions but unfortunately most people with an abusive partner do not access these services. Technology can bridge that gap. myPlan is the result of multiple research studies to develop a digital tool that expands access to individualized safety planning. It can help intimate partner violence survivors who aren’t ready to talk to someone yet to anonymously and privately make safety decisions”, explained Amber Clough, MSW, myPlan director. myPlan was designed with survivors and advocates using decision-making science risk assessment frameworks, and the empowerment model that informs domestic violence advocacy and safety planning services. myPlan is currently accessible to all Looped Fusion Purple agency subscribers and their clients at no additional cost as a value-added service to customers.

Looped Fusion Purple enables safe communication and collaboration between service providers and their clients on any smartphone, mobile or wifi enabled device. Looped Fusion Purple includes custom designed features that connect service providers with their clients within a single communication and engagement system and allows victims to safely access the resources they need-even if being monitored on their devices.

"We created Looped Fusion Purple to provide a safe digital connection between victims and their service providers, even when an abuser is monitoring their mobile devices" stated Kara Wasser, Founder and CEO of Looped Solutions. “By partnering with innovative market leaders like myPlan, we are able to add valuable services and resources within Looped Fusion Purple to assist advocates and the clients they serve.”

As a result of the partnership, additional collaborations between Looped Solutions and myPlan will be scheduled in the future, including; blogs and articles developed to provide additional information for direct services providers, victims, and families in domestic abuse situations.
